I am still primarily operating as a tax preparer and figuring out the business side. I have an established tax business, but much of it still depends heavily on me and needs stronger structure. I have an established business and am ready to strengthen leadership, systems, finances, team and growth strategy.

Most things are handled as they come up, with very few documented processes. We have some systems and processes, but they are inconsistent or not always followed. We have systems in place, and I am ready to improve, document, automate and scale them.

How involved are you personally in the day-to-day operation of the business? *

Almost everything in the business depends on me. I have some support, but I am still involved in most major daily activities. I have support or a team and am working toward operating as the CEO, not doing everything myself.

I mainly know what comes into the business and what goes out. I review revenue and expenses, but I don't consistently use them to make decisions. I review performance regularly and want guidance on profitability, cash flow, pricing and KPIs.

I work primarily by myself and have no immediate plans to build a team. I have contractors or a small team, but roles, communication or accountability need work. I have or am building a team and need stronger leadership, delegation and performance management.

When a recurring problem happens inside your business, what usually happens? *

I handle the immediate problem and move on. I fix the problem, but I know we need better systems to prevent it from happening again. I look for the root cause, document a solution and strengthen the business so it stops repeating.

I usually prefer to keep doing things the way I am familiar with. I am open to change, but implementing changes can be difficult for me. I am willing to change systems, delegate differently and adjust how I operate when needed.
